Automatic Request Processor Timeout
Description
During the processing of Webulator/400 sessions, additional request processors (RPs)
may be required from time to time. These additional RPs may be started automatically
by the server based on the request wait timeout, Timeout
and maximum request processors values.
While being needed to fill a request at the time they
were started, these same request processors may be idle for long periods of time and
consequentially take up system resources. The Automatic Request Processor Timeout
value indicates the number of minutes the server should wait before these request
processors are ended or cancelled due to inactivity. Request processors that are
started as a result of the initial request processsors
value when the server is started or by the STRWBLRP
command are not affected by this parameter.
Parameters
Number of minutes to wait before dynamically ending a request processor that
is idle. If 0, RPs will not be automically ended.
