Limit Section Start

Description

Starts a limit section, which must be ended by the </Limit> directive. All directives inside a limit section apply to the methods specified at the limit section start.

Parameters

One or more methods which represent the client request type(s) that this limit applies to. Each method can be one of the following:

<Limit Method [Method] ...>

Each limit section must be inside a directory section. More than one limit section may appear inside a directory section, but they must not be nested (i.e. a limit section must end before a new limit section can start).

When limits are being evaluated, the order depends on the directory they apply to. Higher level directories are evaluated first, then lower level directories.

This directive may be specified in the directory based configuration file.
